The Dunning Kruger effect is a well-known and proven condition where the less someone knows about a subject the more strongly they both believe in it AND
believe they are experts in the field despite lacking any real understanding.

We see this in actual flat earthers who really exist today. Also in anti-vaxers, and people who believe the moon landing was faked.

The lower the IQ the more strongly this effect is felt. Always remember that the average IQ is only 100 despite former VP Dan Quayle’s supposed announcement that he wouldn’t rest until “all our students are above average.”

Wear your mask, at least then you might appear smarter than average.
